DeltaTRAK™ Salinometer is an optically designed instrument that accurately measures the salinity of water or brine. Salted products include poultry,bacon, ribs and seafood, often seasoned, tender and preserved in brine. The meter can directly read the specific gravity and salt concentration (parts per thousand) of water, providing reliable refractive index and total salt concentration of solid-dissolved aqueous solutions, which can be used to read, inspect and maintain soups and diluents. Salinometers are especially suitable for use in the preparation of ffrozen vegetables, fruits, seafood, and marine byproducts. The instrument has full ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation), which automatically adjusts for the correct temperature difference during use. The meter uses indoor light, does not need
batteries, is easy to focus, and is easy to calibrate.
